Items (Type)

There are different item types in Crashlands. Each category of items got it's own usage.

Types

Tool

A tool is used for harvesting components. There are different tiers of tools. With finding better tools you can harvest more components.

Workstation

Workstations are used to build all different items in Crashlands.

Structure

Structures are most likely walls and doors.

Floor

Can be placed on the ground to build up your base.

Bomb

Bombs are used to deal a %-amount of your DPS to enemy creatures. There are also Harvest Bombs that can be used to instantly harvest Components.

Helm

This is part of your armor. It is placed in an inventory slot to protect you from creatures.

Chest Armor

This is part of your armor. It is placed in an inventory slot to protect you from creatures.

Gloves

This is part of your armor. It is placed in an inventory slot to protect you from creatures.

Leg Armor

This is part of your armor. It is placed in an inventory slot to protect you from creatures.

Weapon

Your main weapon for fighting against creatures. It uses one slot of your inventory.

Creature Stable

Can be crafted to be used as a basket for your tamed creatures.

Potted Plant

Can be placed on a floor at your base to grow different types of Components.

Sign

Can be placed in the world to mark different areas on the map.

Lighting

Is used to make light in your base.

Furniture

Can be placed on a floor at your base. Is only used like a static makeover except the Stone Bed, it can be used to restore your health or speed up the day and night cycle.

Trinket

Those can be crafted and take one of 4 Trinket slots in your inventory. Trinkets give you bonus stats like damage resistance, additional damage, movement speed or fishing bonus. These are passive items and don't need to be activated through the hotkey bar.

Component

Used to craft other items. Sometimes can be used to create seeds.

Throwable

Can be thrown arround but can't be used to make damage to creatures.

Incubator

Is used to breed dropped eggs from creatures. If hatched you can upgrade each pet about 2 levels.

Device

These are using one of 4 slots in your inventory and are automaticaly added to your hotkey bar. They are used to deal additional and ranged damage to creatures.

Seed

Those are used to be placed in to Furdle to grow different Components. Fish Food must be placed in water.

Floor Covering

Can be placed onto floors at your base. Can be used to create way paths.

Torch

Static item in your inventory to have light when walking arround in Crashlands.

Consumable

Can be applied to one of 4 slots in your hotkey bar. When consumed it gives you HP, movement speed, damage reduction, extra damage. It can also clean up damage like fire or poison. It can also make you glow.

Creature Food

Used to give your pet more damage.

Creature Catalyst

This is used to grow your creatures. Once given it will upgrade one level. Creatures can be upgraded at a max. of 2 levels.

Egg

These are dropped from creatures in Crashlands. You can breed and hatch them to make it a tamed creature.

Creature Essence

These are dropped from creatures in Crashlands. You can use them for crafting Creature Catalysts to grow your tamed creatures.
