Blastcrabs are round creatures native to The Tundra, usually found in the dark gray areas.
During the day, Blastcrabs can be seen sleeping. They cannot be harmed when sleeping.
They wake up at night, from about 09:30 P.M. until 07:00 A.M.

To embiggen your Blastcrab to Epic level, you need a Cooler.
Tame Blastcrabs produce Blastcrab Hydrocarbon.
Attack Pattern[edit | edit source]
Blastcrabs only attack at night. Once they have begun to attack, they will continue to attack as long as you are in range, even if the sun has risen.
They have two similar attacks, both of which involve launching themselves explosively into the air.
In one attack, they land back on the spot they launched from with another blast.
In the other attack, they land further from the launch site but with a smaller area of damage.
They do damage when they launch and when they land. Tips to kill them easily: Blastcrab is just invulnerable against fire damage and has no resistance against other attacks.Besides, escaping from they're attack site is difficult(especially if you are not good at controlling flux.) Best items for this creature are nematoblaster and snowball machine which make them move slow and take 25% more physical dmg.if you are good at running and escaping, space wrench and stunning mirror will help you more. And don't forget to use Electric items.
