Zugs are so lazy that they try to avoid moving as much as possible. Because of this, their bodies are packed with a neverending supply of electricity, leftover from their normal metabolic processes.

Appearance

A Zug resembles a sea turtle, despite being mostly living on land. A Zug's shell is more plushy and leathery, complete with stitches on them. This shell opens up whenever a Zug attacks. It has a large head and a pair of fin-like feet that it uses to flap around. A Zug has 3 colors based on their tier:

• Zug has pale green and mossy green color scheme.
• Zug Lug has pink and pastel color scheme.
• Zuguardian has black and red color scheme.

A Zug comes in 3 sizes:

• Zug is the smallest size.
• Zug Dug is medium sized.
• Zug Mug is the largest size.

Behavior

Zugs spawn in the outskirts of Savanna. A normal Zug doesn't get aggressive unless the player harvests Whistleroot or Walkerroot near them. A Zug has 2 attacks, both dealing electric damage:

• The Zug opens its shell and shoots an electric ball towards the player. It'll constantly deal electric damage to the player in range, and it has a weak homing.
• The Zug opens its shell and releases electricity in an area around it.

Taming

• Hatching a domesticated Zug with Zug Incubator requires a Zug Egg that drops from any Zug but the smallest Zug.
• A domesticated Zug can produce Charged Zug Molt when stationed.
• A domesticated Zug requires these Creature Catalysts to upgrade:
  • ZuglaBall from Normal to Powerful
  • Perpetual Motion Machine from Powerful to Epic
