You can also craft ability changing items called "trinkets" and "gadgets". Trinkets are items that give you passive abilities, like chances to cleave-harvest, health regeneration, creating poison clouds on hit, and all kinds of other goodies; while gadgets are useable items that give you special abilities such as flamethrowers, swapping places with your pet, causing explosions, creating lightning storms, etc.
